MEET STEPHANIE
I am a mama to a sweet eight-year-old son, Owen, my fearless six-year-old, Sophie, & my not-so-baby, four-year-old, Cole.
My journey into photography began during my days as a home health nurse for children with disabilities. I witnessed the power of capturing precious moments for all families, embracing their unique circumstances. This realization ignited my passion to create beautiful family photos that transcend any obstacles.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with thousands of families and babies, learning to connect with even the shyest of children, skillfully posing kids of all abilities to showcase their true personalities, and fostering heartwarming moments, like a hesitant toddler planting a big kiss on their new sibling's cheek. My mission has always been to make the photography experience stress-free for everyone involved.
Today, I'm not just your family photographer; I'm your partner in embracing the chaos and beauty of motherhood. I understand tantrums, diaper blowouts, and nap times are part and parcel of life with little ones. In fact, I'm right there in the thick of this motherhood game with you. My approach is all about turning family photos into a delightful experience where your children can be themselves, play, and enjoy our time together. You won't find stiff poses or forced smiles here.
MEET KaITLIN

I grew up in a big Irish family in upstate New York, where life was loud, full of laughter, and always centered around the people you love. After a little wandering (and falling in love with my Southern husband, Seth), life eventually brought us to Colorado, and we've happily called it home ever since.
Now I'm raising two adventurous little girls here, and you'll usually find us exploring the mountains, hunting through thrift stores, dancing around the kitchen, or enjoying a good cup of coffee after a busy day. I love hiking, skiing, art museums, Stevie Nicks, and any excuse to create something with my hands.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University, and when I'm not behind the camera, I work as a textile designer creating artwork for apparel brands. Whether I'm painting, drawing, designing, or photographing people, I love finding beauty in the everyday.
As a photographer, my philosophy is simple: your memories are more important than perfect poses.
Whether I'm photographing a wedding, an engagement, or your family on a Tuesday evening, I want you to feel comfortable enough to simply be yourselves. The best images happen when you're laughing with your partner, chasing your kids through a field, wiping away happy tears, or celebrating with your favorite people, not when you're worrying about the camera.
My style is relaxed, candid, and documentary-inspired. I'll offer guidance when you need it, but I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones that capture genuine connection and the little moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
At Lighthouse Photo Co., we believe everyone deserves to have their story told. We proudly welcome and celebrate people of all races, ethnicities, abilities, body types, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations. No matter who you are or who you love, you'll always have a place in front of my camera.
